equipment

Team Builder has no gear screen. Gear set here is sent with the push and survives Team Builder's Save. Gear for one player is on his card in the roster. Uniforms are its sibling: the keeps the designs Team Builder's five slots cannot hold.

Generate a roster first. The gear controls appear once there is a team.

uniforms

Team Builder holds five uniforms per team and nothing more. Bank a design here and you can overwrite it over there, then put it back when the next season starts.

Pull your team from Team Builder to rotate its uniforms. The shelf below keeps every design you have banked, on any team.

What this is

the short version, for anyone who landed here from a search

CFB27 Roster Bridge is a free CFB 27 roster editor for EA's College Football 27 Team Builder. Start a team from scratch or pull one you have already made, fill all 85 seats, and push the finished roster back into Team Builder with the Chrome extension. The editor runs in the browser; the extension is only the courier between this page and your team.

The players are real. The pool holds 55,959 collected players across 2,019 schools: every FCS program, D2, D3 and junior college as they are collected, a transfer portal tier, and the high school class of 2027. There are enough real players at every position to fill 197 complete 85-man rosters, so a custom roster can be all real names instead of generated ones.

The ratings are Team Builder's own. Overalls here are computed with EA's own rating weights run through a replica of Team Builder's rating code, so what the page shows is what the game shows. Set a team overall, an offensive style and a defensive front, choose dev traits, redshirts, stars and gear, then push once and press Save in Team Builder.

Questions

What is CFB27 Roster Bridge, the CFB 27 roster editor?

A free browser tool that builds a custom CFB 27 roster out of real players and sends it to your team in EA's Team Builder. Nothing is installed but the Chrome extension that carries the roster across.

Do I need the Chrome extension?

Only to pull a team out of Team Builder and to push one back. Building a roster, setting ratings and exporting a build file all work in the browser on their own. The extension is the courier, not the editor.

Where do the real players come from?

Published team rosters, collected school by school. The pool is 55,959 players across 2,019 schools today: FCS and D2 are complete (D2 apart from four WAF-blocked or unparseable schools), D3 and junior college are in progress, and there is a transfer portal tier and a high school class of 2027.

Where do the player photos come from?

Each college and junior college photo is shown from the school's own athletics site, and each transfer portal photo from On3, with the source named under the photo. The images stay on those sites; this page only displays them, and they never go into your roster or Team Builder, where the face is one of EA's heads.

Are the ratings the same as in Team Builder?

Yes. The site runs EA's own rating weights through a replica of Team Builder's rating code, so a player's overall here is the overall Team Builder shows.

Does it cost anything, and where is my roster kept?

It is free and there is no account. Your saved rosters live in your browser; the player pool and the roster generator run on the server, so Generate or Calculate ratings sends the roster there and brings the finished one straight back.
